It was an honor to join the La'Aretz Rebuild Israel event last night. Donors and supporters heard from Consulate General of Israel in New York Consul General Ofir Akunis, Tamir Idan, Reichman University President Boaz Ganor, founder Shelly Harel Pitman, and hosts Danielle Levy and Michelle and Mike Elbaz. We look forward to continuing to work with La'aretz to support our soldiers and Israeli families. Together, we will win. Am Yisroel Chai!

After studying at Syracuse University - Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and visiting Washington, D.C., the Dafna and Gerry Cramer Student Exchange Reichman University delegation traveled to NYC. The Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy students had the opportunity to see the city, learn more about the community, and hear from experts regarding their work and the challenges of the day and they shared their observations as students studying in Israel during the past year. Wonderful to see you and good luck with your studies!

From the Frontlines to Advocacy: Aby's Journey Meet Aby Volcovich, a dedicated advocate and soldier and Raphael Recanati International School alum. On October 7th, Aby was called to miluim with his unit to join the war effort on the northern border of Israel. Enduring months of grueling missile fire and artillery, he served until February. During this time, Aby diligently documented his experiences, sharing the truth about what was happening in Israel with his online audience in both English and Spanish. In February, after completing his first term, Aby flew abroad to Canada and the USA as part of an Israel advocacy delegation with the organization DiploAct, where he works as a project manager. Alongside other delegates, they shared their firsthand experiences of serving in the war, engaging in discussions to dispel misconceptions about Israel. Returning from the delegation in mid-March, Aby flew back to Israel and resumed his service in the reserves on the northern border for another month and a half. Recently completing his second term, he has now returned to work at DiploAct, focusing on creating online content to combat the online legitimacy battle and planning future projects to address diplomatic challenges both abroad and online. Wishing you the best of luck for the future, Aby!#90countries Reichman University Alumni Association

Raphael Recanati International School Student of the Week-Meet Adi! “Hi! My name is Adi, I’m 24 years old, born in Israel but grew up in Rockville, Maryland. I moved back to Israel in 2018 with Garin Tzabar where I drafted to the air-force and completed my army service there. I’m going into my third year of communications at the Reichman University School of Communications, where I specialize in marketing. I am also doing The Public Diplomacy Program this year and am really excited about it!! What I love about the RRIS is that there’s so much going on all the time, both on and off the Reichman University campus, and I appreciate that I can study in English but continue living in Israel as I have for the past 6 years. I wanted to do my best in my studies and that wouldn’t have been possible for me in Hebrew.”Best of luck Adi! #90Countries #LiveinIsraelStudyinEnglish
